BRO C.O.D.E. Has Officially Launched in Indianapolis
On January 1, 2026, BRO C.O.D.E. officially launched in Indianapolis with a clear and timely mission: to support men as they strengthen their emotional health, personal responsibility, and sense of direction.
BRO C.O.D.E. stands for Connect, Own, Discover, Evolve. Each word reflects a stage many men quietly struggle through. Connection creates space for honesty. Ownership builds accountability. Discovery allows men to understand who they are beyond pressure and expectations. Evolution supports long term growth that benefits families and communities alike.
This initiative exists because many men carry responsibility without support. They are expected to lead, provide, and stay composed even when life feels heavy. BRO C.O.D.E. creates space for men to be challenged while also being supported in meaningful ways.
This work is made possible through grant funding from the National Urban League and the Indianapolis African American Quality of Life Initiative. Their investment reflects a shared commitment to improving outcomes for Black men and strengthening the overall quality of life in Indianapolis. We are sincerely grateful for their partnership and belief in this work.
BRO C.O.D.E. is implemented in collaboration with Hoosier Families Inc., the organization leading the program’s vision and community engagement. The Minority Mental Health Initiative is providing administrative and operational support to ensure the initiative is delivered with care, structure, and accountability. MMHI’s role supports the work without shifting the heart of the program.
The men served through BRO C.O.D.E. come from many walks of life. Some are navigating career transitions. Some are rebuilding after setbacks. Some are seeking to become better fathers, partners, and leaders without ever having been given the tools to do so. This initiative meets men where they are and challenges them to grow forward with intention.
BRO C.O.D.E. represents an investment in people. When men gain clarity, stability, and emotional awareness, families become stronger and communities benefit. This initiative reflects a belief that sustainable change happens when individuals are given space to develop skills, confidence, and purpose.
We are honored to walk alongside the men who step into this work and the partners who made it possible. The launch is only the beginning, and the impact will continue to unfold throughout the year and beyond.
The work has begun.
